Career Advisory

Career guidance that leads somewhere

For students and freshers: an honest assessment, a clear roadmap and preparation that gets interviews. For colleges: pre-placement training and campus drive coordination that improves placement outcomes.

What this service is

We recruit for employers across Tamil Nadu, which means we see every day what companies actually hire for and where candidates fall short. Career Advisory turns that into practical help for students, freshers and the institutions that prepare them.

For individuals, that means an assessment of strengths and interests, a career roadmap with realistic options, a resume and LinkedIn profile that recruiters will read, interview practice with real feedback, and training in aptitude and communication where those are the gaps. When a suitable role comes up with one of our employer clients, we put candidates forward.

For colleges and training institutions, it means pre-placement training delivered on campus, support for the placement cell, coordination of campus drives with employers, and institutional MoUs that make the relationship ongoing rather than a one-off event.

Important: No fees for placement, and no job guarantees

AK Employer Shield does not charge candidates any fee for job placement and does not guarantee employment. Career assessment, training and preparation services are chargeable and priced in writing before they begin. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM FEE STRUCTURE FOR TRAINING SERVICES]

Two audiences, two programmes

The individual programme

Structured in the order recruiters evaluate you: direction, profile, then performance.

  • Career assessment and counselling

A structured look at interests, strengths and constraints, followed by a one-to-one session that turns it into two or three realistic directions.

  • Career roadmap

A written plan: target roles, the skills and certifications that matter for them, and what to do in the next 30, 90 and 180 days.

  • Resume and LinkedIn

A one-page resume built for the roles you are targeting, and a LinkedIn profile that recruiters searching for those roles will find.

  • Interview preparation

Mock interviews for the specific kind of role, recorded feedback, and practice until answers are clear and confident.

  • Aptitude and communication

Short, focused training for the aptitude tests and communication rounds that screen out most freshers.

  • Placement assistance

When an employer client has a suitable opening, we put prepared candidates forward. There is no charge for this, and no guarantee of a job.

How the engagement works

  1. 1

    Assessment

For individuals, a structured assessment and a counselling conversation. For institutions, a discussion with the placement cell about current outcomes and gaps.

  2. 2

    Plan

A written roadmap for the individual, or a training and placement calendar for the institution, with clear outputs.

  3. 3

    Preparation

Resume, profile, interview practice and skills training, delivered one-to-one or in campus batches.

  4. 4

    Placement support

Candidates are put forward for suitable roles with our employer clients. Campus drives are coordinated with participating employers.

What you receive

  • For individuals: assessment report, career roadmap, finished resume and LinkedIn profile, mock interview feedback and training completion
  • For colleges: training programme with materials and attendance records, placement cell process documentation, campus drive schedule and post-drive reporting
